I publicly want to take a moment to thank the Queer Fresno administration along with all of the sponsors thus far providing superior services, events, and sponsorship to new members of this community and instilling within it a renewal of pride and sense of ownership once again.
It is visionaries like Mike Martinez and leaders like Binx and her administration that create events like Pink Wednesdays formaly at Bobby Salazar’s in the Tower and now at Palomino’s (also in the Tower District)or events such as Ladies Night and Integration that have made inaugural debuts at Samba’s in the Tower District this year.
Whilst there are other venues to attend any of the nights Queer Fresno plans an event, the steady and increasing support of these events surely reflects the staffers’ hard work that go without notice and is mostly behind the scenes. These events are by no means easy to plan and they surely do take time. Thus, I want to thank every member serving in the Queer Fresno leadership and for providing safe and positive events for us.
