Queer Fresno

I have been delighted to just travel Fresno this past week and eat at some of the best restaurants this city offers. Here are some places to check out.

Golden Dynasty $-$$: On the corner of First and Shields Aves. in Fresno, Ca., the Golden Dynasty is in the Target shopping center. Tucked away back in the corner, it seems that only locals know about this Chinese eatery and I can assure you, the portions do not come close to the sheer brilliance of the taste! After your shopping around town or at Target, check out this place.

Tower Dogs $: Making its inaugural debut in Fresno Ca.’s Tower District, Tower Dogs provides a local hometown feel with its kind service and unique flavored hot dogs.  If you happen to just be running around in the neighborhood and want a bite to eat, Tower Dogs is your place for that quick eat.

Vallarta Supermarket $-$$$$$: Providing a unique setting filled with the vibrancy of Mexico Lindo, Vallarta Supermarket, located on the corner of Butler and Chestnut Aves. in SE Fresno Ca., has anything and everything you could want from a food court (and it has EVERYTHING) filled with fresh aguas (fresh squeezed fruit juices), bakery, creamery, the list goes on and on. You can even purchase a Citizen brand watch while buying all of your groceries.  It’s a one stop shop for the busy individual. The food court is something to try out.

Luna’s Italian Restaurant $-$$: Located in historic Old Clovis, Ca., Luna’s offers great home cookin’ with the great taste of Bella Italia. Everything on this menu will fill you up and for sure make you want to come back. Hands down. Boom!

Me n Ed’s Pizza Restaurants $-$$$: There is only one reason for one to not like Me n Ed’s pizza: YOU JUST DON’T FUCKING LIKE PIZZA! Really, thats it.  Me n Ed’s is a Fresno icon and has made its way all the way to Canada! Please check out their website at www.meneds.com to view their entire menu.  This place is always great!
