ACLU Tells Fresno City College That Anti-Gay Preaching By Health Professor Doesn’t Fly

SAN FRANCISCO – The American Civil Liberties Union sent a letter to Fresno City College today demanding that the school ensure that all its health science classes teach unbiased and medically accurate information. According to students at the college, lectures by Professor Dr. Bradley Lopez, who teaches an introductory health class, often present religiously-based and anti-gay views as “science” or “fact.”
“I feel very let down by my school,” said Jacqui Mahaffey, a 24-year-old student who took Professor Lopez’s class. “I signed up for health science because I was interested in the subject, but what I got was hateful lecturing based on Professor Lopez’s personal beliefs. I am in school to learn, not to be indoctrinated with one professor’s religious views and anti-gay beliefs.”
The ACLU letter includes several examples of Professor Lopez teaching sectarian views and personal bias as “fact.” In recent lectures, Professor Lopez:
• Presented a slide listing “homosexual facts,” including that homosexuality is a “biological misapplication of human sexuality” and said that the “recommended treatment” is “psychological counseling” or “hormone supplements.”
• Presented LGBT people as a burden on and/or threat to society, claiming, for example, that anything but a heterosexual union provides a “one-sided foundation for raising children.”
• Presented bible passages as “empirical” evidence that life begins at conception in support of his assertion that abortion is murder and “the leading cause of death in this country” (because there are over a million abortions a year).
• Followed a slide on climate change in a presentation on “environmental health” with a slide containing a Biblical quote about the world ending in fire, and said “that is the real global warming we should be worried about.”
• Repeatedly referenced the Bible and used it as a teaching tool, for example assigning as homework a question as to Jesus’ genetic makeup.
“The college class room of a state school should be a welcoming environment for all students, and courses, especially health courses, should be based on objective and medically accurate information, not religiously-based bias,” said Elizabeth Gill, a staff attorney with the ACLU of Northern California. “While Professor Lopez is free to talk about his religious beliefs outside of the classroom, Fresno City College has an obligation to protect its students from religious indoctrination and anti-gay bias presented as ‘science’ or ‘fact.’ Professor Lopez’s health class fails students in both regards.”
The letter sent by the ACLU charges that because the classes are being taught at a publicly funded college, Professor Lopez’s lectures violate federal and state constitutional protections guaranteeing the separation of church and state. To satisfy its legal obligation to combat anti-gay bias, the letter also urges the school to mandate accurate and unbiased health instruction.
The ACLU’s letter, which is available at http://www.aclu.org/lgbt-rights/fresno-city-college-demand-letter, gives the college until February 15 to explain how it intends to address the problem.

When we take a moment to consider America’s declining rate of academic success as compared to the rest of the world, we might also consider replacing homophobic, racist preacher-teachers with actual human beings that care about the evolvement of both their students and mankind.
Or, we can just keep doing what we’re doing. Churning out generation after generation of racist, homophobic, hateful children so that they, too, can grow up one day to continue America’s cycle of raising selfish, hateful citizens.
Romans 13:1-2, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves”
Which means that God has established both, the Church, and the Civil Government, therefore the secular ruling authorities such as the U.S. President, the entire U.S Congress, the Justice System, Governors, and Mayors, must all be in submission to Jesus Christ under the authority of the Church, and the Church must be in submission under the headship of Jesus Christ, thus, according to God’s will, the US Constitution, and the will of the Founding Fathers, the church must embody the moral guiding consciousness of the entire Nation.
Once we the people begin to understand these basic Biblical facts, a radical change will take place, which will reverse one godless abomination after the other, such as Separation of Church and State, Affirmative Action, Forced Busing, Abortion on Demand, Euthanasia, Divorce, Sodomy, Same Sex Marriage, and many others.
The Government on the other hand has the authority to enforce all civil laws, Romans 13: 4, “For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer”
It is crystal clear then that Romans 13 teaches that a wall of Separation between Church and State does not exist, but only inside the minds of those being deceived, it is as phony as a three-dollar bill, and one of the biggest hoaxes perpetrated against the American people.
The First Amendment to the US Constitution was drafted in part, to prohibit the establishment of any particular Christian Denomination from becoming the official national religion of the US, but that does not mean the government should be isolated from the holy, and perfect will of God.
The organizational structure or hierarchy of the United States America according to God’s will in Romans 13, the U.S. Constitution, and the will of the Founding Fathers is as follow.
At the very top is Jesus Christ, under Christ is the Church, and at the bottom is the U. S. Government, which is subservient to the church. Right now deceiving usurpers are misleading the Church of Jesus Christ in cahoots with the political tyrants of Washington DC, who are not only lording over the people one perversion after another, but they are also fleecing them as well, through exorbitant taxation.
Where did this guy get the idea the bible is facts? When a conquering state power gets a hold of three hundred years of the telephone game with one particular culture’s myths and legends, wipes out all other nearby cultures’ texts, and writes down the most convenient parts, then spends the next hundreds of years editing and ignoring inconvenient parts, what do you get? The bible! I’m not even bashin on the bible, I’m just saying its a historical artifact of an empire that used christianity to wipe out surrounding cultures. It shouldn’t get anymore or less respect than any other ancient culture’s legends and artifacts.
and personally, the preacher, i mean teacher, SHOULD be fired, but thats just me. Clearly this fool can’t be trusted to do his job and WILL eventually impose his archaic religion on the students again, once the attention dies down.

Also, we do not want him fired. We want him educated on diversity and we want him to do his job, the one he signed a contract to do. Currently he is in breach of contract with the school and the students, and i personally wan that fixed. What i want is a comprehensive diversity program brought to the school, one that the students and faculty can attend for free.

So, you got the idea that the bible isn’t a fact from reading it, but that’s because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven hasn’t been given to you. The Bible is a coded message intended for God’s children only. You can always appeal to God for the forgiveness of your sins, if you do, the Bible will become a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path.
Oh… it’s in code. Imagine that. You can’t understand it unless you believe it first, and it’s not understandable until you do believe it.
So, lets see if I have this right. God creates beings (us) with brains that, when we are at our best, are rational and logical. He lets us discover a method that bests describes his creation, science, and we build our world on that basis. He then requires we be irrational and illogical to understand his code. Makes perfect sense. Not.

First of all, you must understand that God hates sin, period. And what is sin you may ask? Sin is the deliberate disobedience to the known will of God, or the deliberate transgression of his Commandments.
Your sinful or death nature is what keeps you separated from God. You cannot accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to you, and it is impossible for you understand because you lack the Spirit of God or the means to understand them. In other words, since you are spiritually death in your transgressions and sins, you are separated from the life of God.

The Wicked-Fools claim that the Founding Fathers were Deist, and they are the ones demanding to keep a false wall of separation between Church and State in order to stop the high moral standards afforded by the Ten Commandments, thus promoting instead their perverted agenda based on lies, fear, sexual perversions, violence, intimidation, the occult, ignorance, and falsehoods.
The Dumbed-Down Sheep on the other hand, just listens to the Wicked-Fools and follow them. The Founding Fathers today would be morally bound to fight another revolution, this time to defeat the Wicked-Fools, and reeducate the Dumbed-Down Sheep in the fundamentals of Godliness.

It took me a while to track this down but I think it sums up the whole discussion perfectly. One of my favorite episodes of “All in the Family” was when Edith damaged a car that turned out to belong to a Catholic priest. When Father Majeski came by to collect payment for the damages he got into an arguement with Archie (common for that show). After a few moments Father Majeski in exasperation said in respone to Archie’s rantings “Go from the presence of the foolish man when thou perceivist not in him the lips of knowledge.” Pro 14:7 KJV When Archie asked what that meant the priest said it meant “Don’t waste your time arguing with an idiot!”
